Conscious Leadership

Leadership values such as collaboration, compassion, nurturing and valuing relationships are becoming the norm. An era of true partnership between men and women in leading and shaping human society and culture is finally at hand as well as the rise to prominence of female leaders in multiple sectors. Unfortunately, the world of business is often still experienced as hostile to women and families.

Our speakers will address the significance and implications of these changes on business and society, including the impact of women in the marketplace, in managerial ranks and in the corporate boardroom.

Conscious Marketing

Over the past several decades, companies have greatly increased their spending on marketing relative to other business functions.

However, this has not resulted in higher levels of customer loyalty and trust. In fact, the opposite is often the case; the more companies spend on marketing, the less they are trusted by customers and the lower the level of customer loyalty. Conscious businesses spend very little on marketing and yet have outstanding customer loyalty and trust.

We will explore what marketing means in a conscious business and the impact of marketing on women and children and highlight the key implications for marketing research and practice.
